FacilitiesThis self catering accommodation in Andalucia is fully equipped to a high standard and comprises of a small garden and terrace to the front (south facing) as well as to the rear (very private) of the property, with patio furniture, sun loungers and bar-b-que.The lounge/ diner of the villa has an open wood fire for those cosy winter nights in and is well furnished. There is also a TV (Spanish), DVD player, a selection of books and occasional furniture. The kitchen is well fitted with cooking and preparation equipment. Unusual for rentals, there is also a washing machine housed in the utility area adjacent to the kitchen together with an iron and ironing board. The two double bedrooms each have twin beds and fitted wardrobes. There is ample on-street parking adjacent to this self catering accommodation. The bus stop to Granada and surrounding area is only 5 minutes walk away. Things to do nearbyThis part of Andalucia is beautiful with lots of hidden treasures. To get the best out of your holiday we would always advise the use of a car, but if you wish we can arrange for you to be picked up at Granada Airport. The prices (in the price panel) are for each way with a maximum of 4 people.The house is suitable for older children but does not have any facilities for babies or toddlers. Puntal is a private residential area with few other rentals; but it is very well located for a great holiday. A few minute’s walk away from the villa there is a small friendly restaurant, which also sells takeaway delicious roast chickens, pizzas and chips at the weekend and on Fiesta days. Walk in the other direction and you will find another bar-restaurant which is open all year round. Here there is a large swimming pool, children’s pool, mini-golf, tennis courts, picnic area and landscaped gardens. The leisure section is open from mid June to mid September. In Padul , 5 minutes drive away from this villa, there are numerous bars, restaurants, a couple discos and a multitude of cafes. There is a large outdoor swimming pool (small entrance fee) open from mid June to mid September. In Padul there are several grocers, two supermarkets, an indoor market and a bustling Friday outdoor market. There are plenty of things to do and see in the area. Puntal and Padul are virtually untouched by tourism and there are very few rentals available here. Because of this you are able to experience Spanish life as lived by the Spanish (wonderful and very friendly).
Cleaning ArrangementsCasa Miguel is cleaned and prepared with fresh linen and towels before your arrival and weekly thereafter. Additional cleaning and linen changes can be arranged on request at an extra charge (see prices panel below).During the winter months, although there are heaters at Casa Miguel's self catering accommodation many people love curling up in front of the wood burning stove in the evenings. There is an extra charge for wood which we can deliver before your arrival so that it will be all ready for your use. A load of 100 kilograms is usually plenty for a week’s stay in rentals property. A supply of firelighters is also provided (see price table below). Grocery PackWe can arrange for a welcome grocery pack of your own choice to be waiting for you when you arrive. This can be as simple as tea, coffee, milk and wine or a full shop. This service can be very useful when arriving very early or late, at a weekend or on a fiesta day, when the shops are closed.PricesThe rental period is usually on a weekly basis (7 nights) but shorter stays and part weeks can be accommodated. To rent for less than a week or part of a week it is more expensive because of the extra cleaning and linen change involved. We like to be flexible and if these arrangements suit you better we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.To work out this price either email us for a quote or divide the weekly price by 7 and multiply by the number of days you require and then add 40 euros. For example if you wish to stay for 4 nights in April 425/7*4+45 = 282.85 euros The price rentals for this self catering accommodation depends upon the time of year of your visit:- Low Season October to April (excluding Easter and Christmas) Mid Season May, June, September High Season July and August
There is no designated change-over day. The house will be ready for you to arrive anytime after 3pm the day of your arrival and we ask guests to leave no later than 11am on the day of departure. We would then require 25% of the balance as a deposit with the remainder of the balance for your rentals to be paid in full 4 weeks before your arrival.
