Reiki 1 Is Your Most Important Attunement
...With It You Access Your Own Reiki Healing Power
Reiki I (First Degree Reiki)
Reiki 1 is the first of three Reiki levels. And this is the attunement that empowers you to give reiki healing. The "level" of Reiki I is a wonderful level, the beginning, and is an exciting start to the reiki journey whether you want to use your new-found skill just to help yourself and/or your family, or whether you want to use it to treat others professionally. This level's emphasis is very much on practical, hands-on experience both on yourself and on others. It is an introduction to energy work and all that goes with it. By taking this training you will be learning how to tap into, and use, Life Force Energy to make your life, and the lives of those around you, much better, vibrant and healthier.
You Are Attuned Using
The Original And Traditional Methods This reiki method - which I use in my own healing work - is the original system, as taught by the originator of Reiki, Doctor Mikao Usui, of Japan, in the early 1900's. Reiki healing is a laying on of hands touch healing system of incredible power and effectiveness. To learn Reiki 1 you receive two separate Reiki attunements. You will find whole experience to be very pleasant, peaceful and happy. I find that, when training a group of Reiki students, it is better that the attunements are given with a space of 24 hours between the first and the second, as this allows the body to gently assimilate the extra energy.
Traditionally, 24 hours are allowed to elapse between the first and second and concluding attunement. However, I have also found that when I am giving a Reiki 1 attunement to an individual (one person to one person) during the training day I am able to strengthen the student's energy so that he or she can successfully become attuned over an eight hour period. In this case, training will normally commence at 10.00am and finish at 6.00pm on the same day.
Side Note When receiving a one on one training, the student can opt to be trained over a period of two days so he experiences 24 hours between the first and the second attunements. However, a group of students cannot opt to be trained on the one day course.
Your Own Healing Channels Are
Opened, Tested and Proved When receiving an attunement your inner healing channels are opened so that you are able to "channel" the Reiki energy. Once this pathway is established you will be able to channel Reiki for the rest of your life whenever you want to do so. During the Attunement Day(s) you will experience your own healing ablilities and will complete tha course knowing that, yes, you CAN channel Reiki Hesaling Energy.Channelling the energy is a healing experience, both for the healer and the person being healed.
Reiki is primarily an effective complementary treatment in its own right, although it can also be used safely in combination with orthodox medical care and other complementary therapies.
Once you are attuned to the Reiki 1 level you can use your new found energy to benefit:
Yourself * Adults or children who are injured, ill or stressed * Adults or children who are in good health but they just want to grow and improve within themselves * Babies, including pre-born * Animals, birds, plants and trees * Food - treat food with Reiki before eating it and it can increase its "healthfulness" for you * Water - use Reiki-treated for drinking, watering plants or bathing.

During training there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and to practice giving Reiki. By the end of the Reiki 1 Attunement period you will feel confident about the whole thing and you will be able to give Reiki successfully.Included in the training is a Comprehensive Reiki Manual and an attractive 1st Degree Reiki Certificate. With Reiki 1 you receive the first and most important Reiki attunement of all. And once you have been trained and attuned, the ability to be able to channel and give Reiki healing will then be yours to use for life, and for the good of all those with whom you come into contact.
