Start Out From Near Padul And, It Is Said, You Can Actually Get To Anywhere You Want


The slogan of a hotel near Padul has "we are near everywhere" as its slogan. How true it is!

Set out in any direction from Los Limoneros, our bed and breakfast near Padul, and you will be entranced by a wide variety of landscapes, natural life, towns and villages.

To help guests choose where they would like to visit we have listed a selection of places to suggest. They are all favourites of ours and so, for convenience, we have listed them in alphabetical order.


Flamenco cave


Up to 10 minutes walk from Los Limoneros

  • Natural Park of the Sierra Nevada.
    This is the Laguna de Padul. This nature reserve as beautiful views and is flat countryside ideal for walks, seeing wild flowers in May and bird watching all through the year.

  • Site of the recent Roman Excavations.
    In 2006 an archeological dig unearthed evidence just a few minutes from our bed breakfast in Padul, relating to the Romans near the Laguna.

  • Olive and Almond groves to explore.
    Los Limoneros nestles among the olive and almond groves come and see the almond blossom on March. Enjoy walking through them and get a different perspective of Padul.

Less than 15 minutes drive from Los Limoneros

  • Beznar reservoir.
    Sit and enjoy the view or walk (or drive) around the reservoir in the Lecrin Valley. Look for the abundant magnificent carp fish, best view is at the viewing point on the road crossing the dam.

  • Carretera de Cabra.
    This is an ancient Roman mountain road which goes down to Almuņecar at the coast. The name means the road of the (mountain) goats. Set off near Padul and head down to the coast. Visit the Hunting Lodge, walk the forests you pass along hte way and enjoy the wonderful vistas.

  • Flamenco Cave.
    Jorge Parejo Extramera, the owner of La Peņa is the son of the outstanding flamenco performer - Joakin Parejo Alarcon. This is a flamenco show worth seeing.

  • Granada city.
    A lovely walkable historical city with the Cathedral, monuments, beautiful squares for sitting, and shops galore and an atmosphere that will capture your heart.

  • Mini Golf.
    A restaurant near Padul has its own large swimming pool and mini golf course. Fun for all the family!

  • Padul Village.
    Shops, bars, restaurants, beautiful church, the Casa Grande (the old Palace of Padul) all near our bed and breakfast Granada and, as they say, much, much more...

  • Santa Clara Golf Club.
    Santa Clara is a newly opened golf course with stunning views and a course which is most enjoyable for players of all abilities.

  • White villages of the Lecrin Valley.
    The village of El Padul is at the gateway of the Lecrin Valley which contains approximately 16 villages, large and small, but each with its unique character and stunning views. It is well worth taking a drive around the valley if you are interested in seeing the unspoiled Spain of Andalucia.
