Imagine, sitting down to a wide choice of good food and Spanish wines. Here, at Los Limoneros bed and breakfast guest house Babs takes the best and freshest of ingredients andfreshly cooks them with great skill, and her own unique recipe - love.

She is a renowned cook with a flair for preparing good food that satisfies even the most discerning palate. Much of the fruit and vegetables she uses comes from the gardens of Los Limoneros, the meat from local farms and the freshest of fish and seafood comes from Motril.

In her cooking, Babs also uses the wild thyme, fennel and rosemary that grows in profusion on the hillsides. The tastes she creates at our b and b accommodation are definitely not to be missed.

Lunches and Dinners can be pre-booked before you arrive, or arranged as and when you require them during your stay. (Take a moment to vote now and put your favourite soup onto our menu). Enjoy your meals with Spanish wine, beer, a good range of soft drinks or deliciously refreshing spring water from our very own well.

New for 2008

As well as serving drinks throughout the day, a wide choice of good food and snacks for lunch and a wider selection of evening meals which includes spanish tapas, delectable lobster thermidor, paella cooked to Antonia's secret recipe and deliciously tender steaks cooked perfectly and to your taste. All meals can, of course, be accompanied by a beautiful Spanish wine or another drink of your choice.

And now, you can also choose between enjoying our delicious Spanish or English breakfasts or staying here on a room only basis and breakfasting at a local cafe.

Tapas

Prawns Pil-Pil (prawns in a hot spicy olive oil with garlic and parsley)

Chicken Tajine (Chicken thighs cooked in a delicious and authentic mix of spices with sultanas and dates served with cous cous or rice)

Ice Cream With Home Made Hot Chocolate Sauce

Followed by Coffee and Liquor

In the every-day set menu you would normally have a choice of five starters, six main courses and a selection of sweets.

The set menus are supplemented by daily Specials Of The Day. These are offered by Babs depending upon what she sees as being particularly good at the market, or she specially decides to offer depending upon the particular food likes (or dislikes) of our guests.

David is a good guitar player as well as a great waiter. If you ask, he will be pleased to serenade you with his selection of classical guitar playing and popular songs while you relax with your coffee and liquor (your joining in is welcomed but optional).

If you would like food prepared as a special themed meal Babs can prepare for you a veritable feast with authentic dishes from North Africa, India, Greece or Spain.
