Situated on the outskirts of Motril, the fairways of Los Moriscos Golf Club boast breathtaking views. The climate here is ideal all the year round for those who want to play golf on the Costa Tropical. This is an 18 hole links type course with a total length of 5,072 metres, mainly flat. The course is divided into two parts near the sea. There are interesting water hazards, palm trees and sugar cane to add extra interest and challenge. Many of the holes give stunning views along the coast, and, in winter the snow capped mountains give the whole scene a picturesque feel. Facilities include a shop, driving range, putting green and chipping area. There are golf carts and clubs for hire. And naturally there are lockers, showers and a club-house. The course is 18 holes par 72. The Green fee for one day (18 holes) is currently 40 euros per person and 70 euros for a couple. For half a day it is 25 euros each from Monday to Friday. Playing at weekends is extra. Individual and group golf classes are available.

Baviera Golf ClubThis course is at at Caleta Torre Del Mar (near Vélez -Málaga) which is just over an hour and a half away from our bed and breakfast Granada accommodation. To play golf there, just take the E-15 road between Motril and Malaga, come off at exit 277 and head towards Caleta de Velez.The Baviera Golf Club ranks well amongst golf courses and has a fairly level course and is characterized by its wide greens with many curves and a variety of obstacles which makes the course ideal for all types of handicap. José María Cañizaes, one of Spain's most charismatic golfers, designed the course and the variety of holes and the unsurpassable views to both the Mediterranean sea and the mountains combine to give you an unforgettable day of play. Needless to say the course is suitable for beginners, experts and professionals and so all can have a wonderful day playing golf on the Costa Tropical. To rent golf clubs it is necessary to show your golf license or handicap certificate to the Caddy Master. Facilities include individual and group lessons.
