Enjoy That Feeling Good Feeling....

....These Easy To Follow Guidelines Show How



I had just been telling my friend, Dave, about one of the best "feeling good" days I had ever had.

It was the day I braved the fear of going down the "death tube" (as my grandson called it) when my family and I went to the Granada water park last year (August 2005). Dave feeling good - what a way to feel good!!
You see I had always been a weak swimmer and only last year I had been working on curing my fear of water by using EFT. And my efforts paid off. Because my fear of water had definitely disappeared whenever I went swimming in the pool or the sea....

However, when our son and his family were visiting us recently at our bed and breakfast Granada we all decided to visit the water park in Granada.

After braving the tidal wave and the jaccuzi pools, Jake, my grandson, came running to me saying he had found the exact ride we should all go on... the death tube!

When I saw "the tube" some of my old anxieties about water seemed to return. Surely this "tube" was a leap too far!

But how could I let my grandson down?

I walked up to the ride in slow and apprehensive anticipation, but "hurrah" I came down the "tube" in pure joy! And when I landed in the water - I splashed and went under, but I quickly floated up and swam to the side amidst the cheers of my family - no wonder I was feeling good!....

... And have you noticed that when you are "feeling good", I mean, really feeling good - everything in your life just sort of flows along easily.

For the rest of that day - and the days after that - I felt I could conquer ANYTHING with my feeling good power!

So the question is, how can you bring that feeling good feeling into your life so that your own life flows along happily and easily....

Well, there are two aspects to bringing feeling good qualities into your life.

The first aspect is to .. Remove the problems in your life, and
The second is to.. Give more emphasis to the good things in your life.


Eliminate the Negative - Remove The Problems

Reduce Stress Remove stress from your life by realising that .... this too shall pass. When we can understand that everything in life has a time, a season and a reason we can gain a simple, but strong, trust in ourselves. No matter what you are currently having to deal with in your life, whether it be an annoying neighbour or an abusive partner, there is a simple and a learned truth that will help bring you true health and wellness - this too shall pass ... especially true if you are able to do something to bring the required change to fruition.

Take control of your life and help bring your desired change to fruition Take control of your life and feel good.
First, get a paper and a pencil and then make a list of each thing that you are worried about.
Next, write a proposed plan of how each worry will be dealt with. It doesn't matter yet whether or not you have all the details, just write your plan out and then adjust it so that it makes sense and you know, more or less, how to go about dealing with each problem.
Next, prioritise each of your problems, putting them into order, most important first, down to least important. The easiest way to do this is just to number them first to last.
And finally, create a life plan by giving each problem solution an approximate start date and another date for when you anticipate, or hope, you will have solved it.
And now, accept my congratulations, because this simple act of planning to succeed will help you deal with things when obstacles (and opportunities) present themselves. Being in control gives you strength. Plan your life and then live your plan.

Accentuate The Positive - Give More Emphasis to the Good Things

When scientists first discovered that a connection exists between our minds and our bodies a real leap in self discovery was made for feeling better. At a simple level what this means is that there are things we can do with our body that will automatically bring about a feeling good sensation in our mind. This means we can actually create feeling good sensations about ourselves by simply carrying out certain actions.

girl feeling good and smiling Below are some activities you can follow to help get that "feeling good" feeling....

Activate Your Body Put on some comfortable clothes and take a walk. You will find that walking can help clear your head so that you can collect your thoughts.

Relax Take times out each week to simply chill out and do whatever you want to do.... reading a book, watching TV, "slobbing out", listening to whatever type of music relaxes you, playing a game with friends or simply taking a warm, soothing restful bath... and if you want a really special bath, put some thyme and bay leaves in a cloth bag in the running water, together with a cup of salt.... bliss!

De-stress When you are stressed or emotionally jammed up, close your eyes, press your finger and thumb against the top of your nose where the eyebrows stop and take three very deep breaths, each time exhaling completely until most of the air is out of your lungs. Doing this will relax you and help you think more clearly.

Write to Focus Spend some time each night (or morning) writing about your desires and feelings. Doing this will focus your mind and help inspire you.

Choose For Yourself Take and make time for yourself. Not making time for yourself is a choice. So you must simply choose differently. Choose to give time to yourself and decide when and how you will take time for yourself.

Grow Friends Take the time and trouble to develop friendships.... Over and over it has been proved that enjoying the company of good friends is beneficial for health. For example, in a recent 13-year study, Harvard researchers found that people who have good friends experience less stress, recover more quickly from illnesses, and even live longer than people without good friends.

food basket to get you feeling good Remember, to develop friendships, you need to be a good friend yourself... I have found that I only have sufficient time in my life for a few good friends. Not for a lot. Why? Because if I have a good friend, I need to be there for them whenever they need me and I need to make time to be with them regularly. I can only make enough time to do this with a few people. In my opinion a few good friends are much better than a lot of not-so-good friends. what do you think?

Choose Right You are what you are today (or you have become the person you are today) because of the choices you have made during the days (and nights) up until this point. Now make your choices for tomorrow - and the next day - and the day after that. Make feeling good a part of your life!. And why not start now?
