Enjoy your birthday in Granada and get more out of life


Tony Panting celebrated his 73rd birthday around Granada on the 8th October 2007.

He and his wife Maureen stayed with us at Los Limoneros for two weeks but when they reserved their room we had no idea that Tony would be having his special day here.

When clients book to stay at our bed and breakfast we often don't know what they intend to do or where they want to go. All we knew about Tony and Maureen was that they wanted to buy tickets for the Alhambra.

But when it came to THE day, we helped make Tony's birthday in Granada special for him - and it worked...

Cue the celebrations at Los Limoneros...

The truth is, he has a passion - cycling - as you can see from the photos. Just recently he came FIRST on handicap in the East Anglian Vets 100 mile Championship, completing the distance in just 4 hours and 50 minutes.

Keeping fit is important to Tony. He spends at least some time cycling each day , and he and Maureen celebrated his 73rd year by taking a 9 mile walk around the Laguna near Los Limoneros.

We helped to make sure Tony enjoyed his birthday around Granada. Especially important since it was such a special year. Mind you, he doesn't look his age at all!

The other guests, Alan and Pat, who were here at the same time, all enjoyed each other's company and finished up choosing to have their meals at the same time as each other so that their conversation could continue to flow.

All in all it was a very enjoyable week - all made the more special when Tony announced that his 73rd birthday had been one of the best he had ever had. What a way to come celebrating in Granada.
